GEM MATERIALS & TREATMENT:
Many gems are treated to improve color. If it is treated in anyway, we try
to mention this, although some treatments require testing far beyond our
capabilities. Should you find ANY gem not as described, we will, of course,
refund your full purchase price immediately, as well as all shipping charges.
CLARITY/INCLUSION GRADING:
Diamonds and other clear (mostly faceted) gems are grade for their clarity
and inclusions (natural internal flaws). Normally, unless noted, we try to offer
the best grade we can get at an affordable price.
IF: Very
high quality, free from inclusions. VVS 1 & 2:
Very, very slightly included. High quality with very small inclusions - usually
clean to naked eye. VS 1 & 2 Slightly included. Good quality with slight inclusions
visible to the naked eye. SI 1 & 2
Slightly included. Inclusions which can be seen easily with the eye. I 1, 2, &
3. Included. Low quality stones with many flaws. We do not knowingly offer I
1,2, & 3 included stones.
